Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use govern your use of the GoSavis platform, including the customer site, the GoSavis Business operator surface, and any associated services and content. By creating an account, listing a service, booking a service, or otherwise using the platform, you confirm that you have read and accept these terms in full. If you are using the platform on behalf of a business or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will publish the revised version on this page with the date of the change, and where the change is material we will notify account holders through the channels they use for service updates. Your continued use of the platform after a revision takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Eligibility and your account
To use the platform you must be at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and provide accurate information when you sign up. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for any activity that takes place under your account, so we strongly recommend choosing a unique password and enabling any additional security features we offer.
You may close your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or close an account if we have reasonable grounds to believe these terms have been breached, if your activity puts other users at risk, or if we are required to do so by law. Where we close an account at our initiative we will, where practicable, give you notice and a chance to respond before doing so.
The preview
GoSavis offers a preview: a way to look around the platform signed into a sample world, without creating an account. Everything in the preview is sample data. The businesses are not real and nothing you do there creates a real booking, obligation, or payment, on your part or anyone else’s. A preview session cannot see or affect real accounts and businesses, and leaving the preview ends it. If you go on to create a real account, nothing from the preview follows you.
Terms for Customers
When you book a service through GoSavis you enter into a direct agreement with the Business that will provide it. The platform is responsible for facilitating the booking (and, where an online payment option is offered and chosen, processing that payment) and for supporting both sides if something goes wrong; the Business is responsible for the service itself, including its scope, quality, timing, and any aftercare.
You agree to give Businesses accurate information when making a Booking, to behave respectfully towards anyone you interact with through the platform, and to honour the cancellation and rescheduling rules set out in each Business's listing. You also agree to leave reviews that are based on your genuine experience and that do not contain offensive, discriminatory, or personally identifying content about a Business's staff or other Customers.
Payments, cancellations and refunds
At present, Bookings made through GoSavis are paid on arrival: you pay the Business directly when you attend, by whatever means the Business accepts, and GoSavis does not take or hold your payment. The price shown on the listing is the price the Business has published, and any money you hand over is a transaction between you and the Business.
When online card payment becomes available it will be clearly offered at checkout and processed by regulated payment partners; we will never store raw card details on our own systems. Until you are shown and choose a card option, no card is charged through GoSavis.
Because nothing is paid in advance, cancelling costs you nothing in money. It still costs the Business the slot they were holding for you, so we ask you to cancel as early as you can from your bookings page, and repeated no-shows may lead a Business to decline your future bookings or to us reviewing your account. A Business may equally cancel a Booking; when that happens you will be notified, and its record stays in your bookings.
Where money has changed hands, refunds are a matter between you and the Business, governed by the Business’s own cancellation and refund rules together with any consumer protection rights you have under law. If a Business and a Customer cannot resolve a dispute between themselves, our support team will help mediate, and where appropriate we may make a determination based on the evidence available.
Content you post
When you post content on the platform you keep ownership of it. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, display, reformat, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform. We will only use your content in ways that are consistent with the purpose for which you posted it.
You agree not to post content that is unlawful, infringes the rights of others, is misleading, or could reasonably be considered offensive or harmful. We may remove content that breaches these rules or that is reported to us through the in-product reporting tools, and we may suspend accounts that repeatedly post such content.
