GoSavis is open to businesses in the United Kingdom. Your progress is saved as you go, so setup can be finished over more than one sitting.
Registering
Start on the business page and choose Register your business. Registering asks for the business's registered name, its trading name if customers know it by another, the name of the person registering it, and a username, which becomes the address of the business's page: gosavis.com followed by the username. We then confirm the email address you will sign in with.
Setting up the business
Once the email address is confirmed, setup takes the business through seven steps, in this order:
Type: the business's legal form, such as a private limited company or an individual.
Details: its names and legal details, such as its company number if it is a limited company.
Contact: how customers can reach it, and its address.
Hours: the days and times it is open.
Services: the services it offers, and their prices.
Compliance: its tax references, two declarations, and its acceptance of the Operator Agreement, the Data Processing Addendum and the Terms of Use, each named at the version in force and linked so it can be read first.
Payments: setting up payouts, described below.
Setting up payouts
The last step sets up payouts with Stripe, our payments partner, without leaving GoSavis. Stripe verifies identity and collects the business's bank details; GoSavis does not hold them. Payouts need two-factor authentication, because this is where bank details are handled, so if your account does not have it yet, the step first asks you to add a passkey or an authenticator app.
Before customers can book
Until payouts are set up, a business cannot take bookings, and its profile is not shown to customers. If you are not ready to finish, you can leave this step and pick it up at any time from Settings, under Payouts.
Setup also tells you, service by service, when a service has been saved as a draft rather than published, and what it is waiting for. In some categories, for example, GoSavis checks a certificate, such as proof of insurance, before a service in that category goes live.
If you have a question along the way, the help centre is the place to start.
