Reviews and tips
Leaving an honest review, tipping, and why it matters.
After your booking
Once a booking is complete you will be invited to leave a review and, if you would like to, add a tip. Both take only a few taps. After a parking session or an event, what you review is the car park or the event itself, and where a business runs it, your review counts toward that business's rating too. An honest, specific review is the single most helpful thing you can do for a local business, and it makes the next person's choice easier too.
Common questions
Do I have to leave a review?
No, it is always optional. But good work rising to the top depends on real customers sharing their experience, so a quick word goes a long way.
Is tipping expected?
Tipping is entirely up to you and is never required. If you do want to show your appreciation, you can add a tip when you review. GoSavis takes no share of it. It is held with the payment for your booking and paid, all of it, to the business or to the team member you tip when that payment is released, so if your booking is cancelled, or does not go ahead, and your payment for it is refunded, your tip is refunded with it. A team member can be paid a tip by card only once they are able to receive tips; until then, a card tip can go to the business. Where you have no card saved for the booking, your tip is recorded as owed and settled in person, and it can go to anyone who delivered the booking. A report of a problem, or a dispute with your card provider about the payment for your booking, is about that payment rather than your tip, so where it ends with that payment refunded to you, your tip is still paid. A dispute with your card provider about the tip itself holds only that tip until it is decided. A tip you add after the payment for your booking has been released is paid at once where you have confirmed that the service was delivered; otherwise it is paid 3 days after the business marked the booking complete, or, where it has not, 7 days after you add it.
Can I edit or remove a review I left?
Reviews are tied to a completed booking and are meant to be a lasting, honest record, so they are not freely editable. If you believe a review of yours was posted in error, contact our support team and we will look into it.
