How do I know a business is any good?
Look at the photos, the price, and the reviews together. Reviews come only from customers who actually booked and completed a service, and we never edit them on a business's behalf, so they are an honest signal. A business with a steady stream of recent, specific reviews is usually a safe bet.
Can I see a provider's past work?
Yes. Many businesses keep a gallery of their work and the people behind it on their profile. It is a good way to check a style matches what you have in mind before you book.
What does the rating actually mean?
The star rating is the average of the reviews customers have left after completed bookings. A business's rating also takes in the reviews of its services and of any car park or event it runs, and each of those names what it was about. It is a quick summary; the written reviews underneath give you the detail behind the number.
